I was saved at the age of 13 in an old time Missionary Baptist Church in Concord North Carolina in 1962. After many years of serving the good Lord, I felt the call of God upon my life to preach the gospel. I surrendered to God to preach on November 1978 and immediately began a rest home ministry while also filling in on Wednesday nights for a neighboring church. Since that beginning, I have pastored 5 churches during the past 31 years. It was my wonderful pleasure to sit under some of God's finest preachers as a child, and that has had a lasting effect upon my life and my preaching style. I firmly believe that the old time way that has fired the churches of this country for the past 200 years is exactly what we need to get back to. In 1993, I graduated from Carolina Bible College with a Bachelors degree. Since that time I have went on to earn a Doctorate in Divinity, a Doctorate in Theology, and a Doctorate in Expository Preaching. Approximately one year ago, the Lord burdened my heart heavily with the work of helping God's preachers around the world. From that burden, I formed SermonOutlines. Org, Golden- Nuggets.Org and The Center For Expository Bible Preaching. I have felt God's distinct call upon my remaining years to help preachers, pastors and churches through evangelism. It would be my great honor to be a help to any and all pastors that would consider me for revivals, campmeetings, pulpit supply or single preaching engagements. My dear wife of 42 years and I reside in Rockwell, NC, and we have three wonderful children and eight precious grandchildren. My home church is Westside Baptist, Salisbury NC and my pastor is Bro. Joel Hiatt.
