Samson judged Israel for 20 years, had super human strength, but never saw his own weakness, which was the opposite sex. He strained at the gnat of his enemies - the Phillistines, but swallowed the camel of his enemy - Delilah. It wasn't until he was blind to everything else, that he could say "I can see clearly now".... It is the little foxes that spoil the vine!!!!!!!!

Genesis 32 - Many people will say "be true to yourself". I say you better not, or you will wind up like Jacob. He never was of use to God until self left and the Saviour Lived. The key to this passage is: "He was left alone". What he saw that night in himself, he did not like, but what he saw in the Saviour, he lov...ed. May we be left alone with God!

Barack Obama was busy today doing the one thing he does well, CAMPAIGNING!!!!!!!!! He can sell a bag of hope, but when you open the bag, it is actually a bag of hot air!!!! And as Roy and Dale used to sing, "Happy Trails to you"

The word "faithful" means "full of faith". In my 62 years, I have learned that a person will always be "what they are full of", and as Roy and Dale used to sing, "Happy Trails to you".

Sin is like an airplane wanting to land on your air field. You are the air traffic controller and you must make the decision and give the directions. What has landed at your airport today?

Gen 32 - Jacob met God @ Peniel. First time Jacob ever owned up to what he really was. God touched him that night, the next morning he halted on his thigh and in Chap 33:1 "Jacob lifted up his eyes". We can almost hear him saying, "I can see clearly now". Things always look differently thru eyes that are right with God.

Genesis 3 - Satan tempted Eve with the thought "You will see clearly now" in vs 5. Vs 6 states "and when the woman saw". Her vision was not clear, but clouded. She only saw what she didn't have, shouldn't have, and was commanded not to have! May God help us to "see clearly" what sin is.

Luke 16 - After the rich man wound up in hell, he was saying to Abraham, "I can see clearly now". There will be no altar calls in hell, though, so it was too late.

Romans 1:20 According to this verse, no human is justified is saying, I cannot see clearly the Saviour of this world". "For the invisible things of him from creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, that they ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE. Glad I can see clearly now

John 4 - The Samaritan woman could not see clearly when she said, "I perceive that thou art a prophet". But after the Lord told her, "I am He that speaketh to you", she ran to the city and said "Come SEE". Now she could say "I can see clearly now"

Acts 8 - There was a man - the sinner, some man - the servant, and some other man - the Saviour. At the start, the sinner was alone in his chariot, then the servant joined him in the chariot, and last, but greatest, the Saviour got in the chariot. What a chariot ride it has been since He got into my chariot - is He in your chariot?

The Word of God (KJV) can be compared to the dip stick in your auto engine. You can read it, resist it or rail against it, but you cannot change the truth that it reveals.

When you name is in the lights, men will shed light on you. When your name is in the "Light of the World", He will shed light on you. I sure am glad that my name does not have to be in the LIGHTS, in order for Him to shed light on me - HALLELUJAH

In regards to sin, many will say, "I can do this and still be a Christian". However, it is not the "I cans" that is the problem, it is the "I want to's". The "I cans" are always present because of the old nature, but when we have the "I want to's" present, we have a major problem that needs to be dealt with.

"ACID TEST CHRISTIANITY" - If we say that we will not do something, and there is any power, persuasion, person or situation in this world that will make us change our mind, then we have a "PREFERENCE" and not a "CONVICTION". The question before us is: "what are we really convicted of?"

Acts 9 - Paul had just received powerful letters from an earthly high priest, but on the road to Damascus, he met the Heavenly High Priest and received a powerful light. "That at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess". Men may shine bright lights but only he has the begotten light. - Glory, Glory, Glory

Psalm 143:5 David said "I muse on the work of thy hands". "Muse" means to "think positively about something". Today, most do not "muse" about God, because they are "amused" by the world. The moral of this story is, "we have traded enlightment (muse) for entertainment (amuse) in our lives and especially is our church...es. Now the world is "amused" with the church. May God help us to wake up!!!!!!!!

Was recently asked "Why do you always talk(their word for preaching) using the King James version? My answer was, "Because it is the only version that talks back to me"

Inspiration from God doesn't always come to the one who has the brightest porch light, it comes to the one who has the brightest prayer light. Porch lights burn so that everyone else can see your house, but prayer lights burn so that God can see your humbleness. As Roy and Dale used to sing, "Happy Trails to youTop of Form 1

Bottom of Form 1

Legalism says "I will love you if you change". Grace says "I will love you and help you change". Legalism always condemns, grace always converts. Legalism will blind you to the light. Grace will bring you to the light. Legalism is an island to itself. Grace is an invitation to salvation. Legalism burns you out, but grace brings you in.

John 9 "I am the light of the world". The Pharisees had it all until the light of Jesus shined on them, then they realized they had nothing. The Blind man had nothing, but when the light shined on him, he realized he had everything. The light of Jesus Christ eithers brings condemnation or conversion. Light can be ...turned on or off, but you do not turn darkness on, it is always present when the light is turned out

Time is a prodigy that man cannot alter, add to or take away from. Just as the Holy Ghost impregnated Mary, he also impregnated time. Mary gave forth a son, and in the fullness of time, time gave forth a son. This is why Jesus was not a begat son, but the only begotten son. Time is now getting full again, and in the... fullness of time, God will send His Son once more

II Tim 4 - Paul said "I have fought a good fight". Paul was saying that he had fought for the cause, not his case. Too many have cases, when they need the cause. A case is what you take to court, but a cause is what you take to God. May God help us to be sure that we are fighting for the CAUSE, not our CASE.

God's salvation is in a Man, not a plan. You can go to heaven through the man, Christ Jesus, without any plan. But a plan without the man will wind you up in Hell. I have a plan for tomorrow, but tomorrow may not come. I have the Man of tomorrow and I know the Man will come, therefore thru the Man, not the plan, I have a tomorrow.

Boy, we are moving right along in this country! We have a president that cannot prove he was born, a VP who cannot prove he has any brains, a speaker of the house who has no backbone, a congress that has no backing, a surpreme court that is blind, and politicians that can't keep their britches on. The old folks called this "a mess".

Forrest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you might get". This is true to some degree about life, but when death comes, there are only two pieces of chocolate in the box, one called heaven and one called hell. The problem is, that you must make your choice before you die. Moral of story...: eternity will be filled with your choice!!!!

John 2 - The six waterpots were earthern vessels used for a religous ceremony, until the Lord performed a miracle with their contents. They were still the same earthern vessel, but there was a miracle inside. That is a wonderful picture of our salvation. A miracle inside, but the container is the same. We have a treasure in earthern vessels.
